In the year of 2006 one former and one current International Futsal player realised that there was a hole in the marketplace for FUTSAL specific product. The often neglected FUTSAL player was as always being treated as a second rate citizen to its bigger brother outdoor football, and you could NOT find any specific product to the needs these players deserved in AUSTRALIA.
With that in mind and the ever changing face of Futsal products developing throughout the World we both launched the brand “ 5 STAR FUTSAL”. The brand has been banded together to ensure that over time AUSTRALIAN futsal players can have a brand that is synonymous with the sport and one they can relate to both on and off the court.
A true FUTSAL influenced brand that can be embraced by all who play the great game.

Company Directors:
PETER SPATHIS - The current Men's Australian and FNSW Futsal goalkeeper. Peter has travelled the world playing futsal at the highest level since the age of 10, and was given his first International Men's Cap when he played against JAPAN in 2003.
Peter has since gone onto to play for AUSTRALIA at the following tournaments:
- FIFA WORLD CUP in CHINESE TAPEI 2004
- ASIAN CUP QUALIFIERS MALAYSIA 2006
- ASIAN CUP UZBEKISTAN 2006 & JAPAN 2007 & THAILAND 2008 ASEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS THAILAND 2007
- KL WORLD 5’s 2008
ADAM CONFOY - A retired International futsal goalkeeper with a wealth of experience. Adam first played for AUSTRALIA at the age of 13 when he toured to JAPAN. He then represented AUSTRALIA every year following before playing his first International Men's Cap against BRAZIL in Australia in 1993.
Adam has had a career spanning more than 10 years in the MENS National Team which shapes as below:
- FIFA WORLD CUP in SPAIN 1996 (Vice Captain)
- FIFA WORLD CUP in GUATEMALA 2000 (Captain)
- WORLD 5’s KL 20001 MINI WORLD CHAMPIOSHIPS 1995 and 1997 RIO BRAZIL
Adam after retiring as a player in 2005 became the AUSTRALIAN GOALKEEPER coach and has helped the current AUSTRALIAN Goalkeepers over the past 3 years.
